BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br /> STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> RESOLUTION NO.2026- <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF <br /> TRANSPORTATION AVIATION DIVISION GRANT FUNDING FOR <br /> CONSTRUTCION OF THE BOWERS FIELD HANGAR TAXILANE COMPLEX <br /> PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBILC WORKS DIRECTOR TO <br /> EXECUTE THE SAME <br /> WHEREAS: The Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) authorized grant funding for the <br /> Hangar Taxilane Complex project at Bowers Field; and <br /> WHEREAS: Funding for the construction phase includes a 5 percent match required with the <br /> federal grant funds; and <br /> WHEREAS: An aid application was submitted to Washington state Department of <br /> Transportation(WSDOT)Aviation Division to support this project; and <br /> WHEREAS: WSDOT has noticed Public Works of grant award through Grant Agreement No. <br /> GCC 1495 with a maximum amount of$23,750.00; and <br /> WHEREAS: The state funding reduces the County's match obligation from the Airport Fund. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Board of County Commissioners, after due <br /> consideration, does hereby accept Washington State Department of <br /> Transportation Aviation Division funding for the construction phase of the <br /> hangar taxilane complex project; and <br /> NOW,BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Board of County Commissioners does authorize the <br /> Director of Public Works to execute the documents necessary to accept and <br /> utilize the grant funds. <br /> DATED on this 28th day of September 2026,at Ellensburg,Washington. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY,WASHINGTON <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br /> Attest: <br /> ❑ Clerk of the Board-Julie Kjorsvik <br /> Laura Osiadacz,Vice-Chairman <br /> ❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz <br /> Jeff Leichleiter, Commissioner <br />
