BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION TO ACKNOWLEDGE LETTER AND ACCEPT UPDATED TIMELINE <br />RESOLUTION No. 2026� <br />WHEREAS: On January 3, 2023, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />("BOCC") entered into a real property lease with C.R. Wales Investment LLC., <br />("Lessee") for the lease of real property; and <br />WHEREAS: On March 4, 2025, at Lessee's request, the BOCC signed Resolution No. 2025-051, <br />for the purpose of extending the timeline for the opening of the Bowling Alley to a <br />new date of December 31, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Lessee has been diligently working to deal with unforeseen delays encountered <br />while making the necessary upgrades to the facility; and <br />WHEREAS: On October 14, 2025, Lessee submitted a letter requesting a second extension of <br />the timeline for the opening of the Bowling Alley, with a proposed date of July 1, <br />2026; and <br />WHEREAS: On June 5, 2026, Lessee submitted a letter requesting a third extension of the <br />timeline for the opening of the Bowling Alley, with a proposed date of November <br />5, 2026; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners <br />hereby acknowledges the June 5, 2026 letter requesting to extend the timeline for <br />the opening of the Bowling Alley from July 1, 2026 to November 5, 2026, and <br />accepts the updated timeline. <br />ADOPTED this day of June, 2026. <br />BOffF <br />Y-C—OMMISSIONERS <br />KINTY, WASHINGTON <br />
