AfiACHMENT''A" <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />ln addition to providing all material and labor, the Contractor shall perform the following activities: <br />lmplement programs for Thorp School District students focused on mental health services, substance use <br />prevention, life skills development, interpersonal relationships, leadership skills, healthy eating, physical fitness, <br />outdoor activities, creative arts, and structured activities. Programs will include Summer Camp, Afterschool <br />Programs, Clubs, Mental Health Counseling, ln-school Seminars, Parent Education, Staff Training, and Retreats. <br />Where needed, we will provide healthy meals and transportation that directly support the ability to participate <br />in mental health and substance use prevention activities. <br />Contract with a Behavior Support Specialist to train staff <br />Conduct formal and informal behavioral health screenings <br />o Use BEISY scores to recruit students <br />o Collect data during sessions <br />Facilitate summer camp and after-school programs <br />o Provide safe places and structured activities in the critical after-school and summertime. <br />o lmplement Mental Health Curricula: SEL, Life Skills, interpersonal relationships, Drug & Alcohol <br />prevention, suicide prevention, etc. <br />o Conduct small group sessions <br />o lntegrate creative arts, physical activities, and healthy eating <br />o provide healthy meals and transportation that directly support the ability to participate <br />o Administer pre- and post-surveys <br />o Track data across programs and school day <br />Facilitate secondary retreat for at-risk students to build interpersonal relationships, increase resiliency, <br />and learn self-advocacy. <br />Contract with Mental Health Services to provide direct services <br />Contract with Speakers for Bullying Prevention, Diversity Awareness, Drug/Alcohol Abuse Resistance, <br />Suicide Prevention Topics <br />Host parent education events to equip parents to recognize early warning signs, understand risks kids <br />face, and learn tools and resources available. <br />Partner and collaborate with community resources <br />Hire staff to provide additional student mental health supports on Fridays <br />Kittitas County Agreement for Services (rev.5/74/251 <br />Page 3 of 21 <br />a <br />a <br />a <br />a <br />a <br />a
