BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOL uiloNNo.2026- o0T <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN WASHINGTON STATE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION AND KITTITAS <br />COUNTY, WASHINGTON FOR BOATING SAFEry AND EDUCATION SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for <br />public agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual advantage; and <br />WHEREAS, Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission provides grant <br />assistance to agencies as part of their Recreational Boating Safety (RBS) Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County is desirous of participating in the RBS program to help <br />reduce the number and severity of recreational boating casualties of all types associated <br />with recreational boating and ensure a safe and enjoyable boating environment for all <br />users; and <br />WHEREAS, the governing bodies of each of the parties to the lnterlocal Agreement <br />attached hereto have determined to enter into this lnterlocalAgreement by action taken at <br />a regular meeting; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the BOArd Of COUNTY <br />Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington authorizes the execution of the lnterlocal <br />Agreement between Kittitas County and Washington State Parks and Recreation <br />Commission that is attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference, and which <br />shall be forthwith filed with the Kittitas County Auditor pursuant to RCW 39.34.040. <br />ADOPTED this Loru da yof <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KI , WASHINGTON <br />hairman <br />Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />ht, c <br />RESOLUTION <br />, Commissioner
