intended to be performed annually over the contract term to maintain compliance with permit conditions and <br />agency requirements. <br />Suhtask 2.1 -. ilttvirr-'rntltetltal Motlitaring F{eiclwr:i"k <br />Activities <br />r Groundwater and Spring Monitoring (LPL and Balefill) <br />o LpL: 5ample three groundwater wells and one spring quarterly per WAC 173-350-500' <br />o Baletill: Sample tive groundwater wells and one spnng semtannually (fitst quarter (Qf) and thlrd <br />quarrer (a3)) and one groundwater well quarterly (Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4) per WAC 173-351-400' <br />o Measure depth-to-water and document field conditions at each location. <br />r Leachate Monitoring (Balefill) <br />o Collect one annual leachate sample from the collection tank in Q1 per WAC 173-350-500' <br />o Coordinate with laboratory for analyses specified in the approved plan. <br />e LFG Monitoring (LPL and Balefill) <br />o perform quarterly ambient/near-surface perimeter monitoring at LPL LFG monitoring points <br />(GM-1 to GM-8) and Balefill LFG monitoring points (GMB-1to GMB-9) per WAC 173-351'200 <br />and the LFG Monitoring Plan. <br />o perform quarterly gas vent monitoring at 26 gas vents at the Balefill Landfill. <br />o Document field readings, weather conditions, and any exceedances; and initiate follow-up <br />actions if required by the LFG Monitoring Plan. <br />r Field Coordination and Documentation <br />o Coordinate all sampling with County staff and the repofting team as described in Subtask 2.2' <br />o procure containers, calibrate instruments, and ensure proper chain-of-custody for all samples. <br />o Deliver samples to a certified laboratory for analysis' <br />Deliverables <br />r Field data sheets, water level logs, LFG monitoring logs, and chain-of-custody forms for each sampling <br />event. <br />. Exceedance documentation when applicable. <br />Assurnptions <br />. All quarterly sampling will be performed during a single mobilization when feasible. <br />r HWA Geosciences will complete quarterly groundwater monitoring through the fourth qua rter of 2025, <br />parametrix will take over quarterly groundwater monitoring in the first quarter af 2026. <br />.
