BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br /> STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A RECURRING MONTHLY CLOSURE OF THE KITTITAS <br /> COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR ALL-STAFF MEETINGS <br /> RESOLUTION No. 2026- <br /> WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners has the authority,pursuant to RCW <br /> 36.16.100, to approve changes by resolution in the days and hours that County offices shall be <br /> kept open for the transaction of business; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Public Health Department has requested authorization to close <br /> the department to routine public business one recurring day per month from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 <br /> p.m.; and <br /> WHEREAS, said closure is needed for the purpose of conducting recurring all-staff meetings to <br /> provide department-wide communication, training, coordination, planning, and other business <br /> necessary for the efficient operation of the department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners finds that a recurring monthly closure <br /> will support effective public health operations while minimizing disruption to public services; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, emergency response and other time-sensitive public health activities will continue <br /> to be provided as operationally necessary during the scheduled closure; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners authorizes said recurring monthly <br /> closure by action taken at a regular meeting; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Board of County <br /> Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington authorizes the Kittitas County Public Health <br /> Department to close to routine public business one recurring day per month from 3:00 p.m. to <br /> 4:00 p.m. for the purpose of conducting department-wide all-staff meetings. <br /> ADOPTED this day of <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY,WASHINGTON <br /> Cory Wright, Chair <br />
