DISCUSSION:
Public Works has updated the 6-Year Plan to better represent the County’s ability to fund
road improvement projects. Last year, project s were not included in the plan if funding
was not secured and was instead included on a Capital Improvements List to show needs
which would be completed if funding became available. In addition to funded projects,
t his year Public Works has included placeholders for projects with grant funding
opportunities that are on a regular funding cycle . These placeholders identify the funding
source and type of project which meets funding criteria. Only funding opportunities that
are utilized each cycle have been included.

FISCAL IMPACT:
The 6-Year Transportation Plan will help set the Public Works budget for 2027.

ATTACHMENTS:
Exhibit 1: Draft 6-Year Transportation Improvement Plan for 2027-2032
