PUBLIC <br />COMMISSIONERS' <br />CO) z 1 DYNA4 <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />WORKS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 <br />1:30 PM <br />DULY 13f 2026 <br />Board members present: Vice -Chairman Brett Wachsmith and Commissioner <br />Laura osiadacz . <br />Others: Joshua Fredrickson, Lisa Godden Kittitas County Public <br />Works; James McCubbin, Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office; Amy <br />McGuffin, Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce; Katie Portfield, <br />Kittitas County <br />Technology; and <br />Event Center <br />1 member o f <br />Bill Davis, Kittitas County Information <br />the public. <br />At 1@030 PM Vice -Chairman Brett Wachsmith <br />Study Session. <br />NO CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />opened the Public Works <br />APPROVE A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY CHANGER OF COMMERCE AND <br />SIGNATURE ON A CORRECTIVE QUIT CLAIM DEED. <br />OF FUNDING RETURN FROM <br />AUTHORIZING CHAIR <br />Joshua Fredrickson briefed the Board of County Commissioners <br />regarding a proposed Resolution accepting the return of funds <br />previously awarded to the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce for <br />purchase of the business <br />reviewed <br />the 2015 funding <br />Quit Claim <br />incubator building. Joshua Fredrickson <br />backaround1explainedexlained that the originalal <br />Deed included a <br />reversionary use restriction, <br />and advised <br />that return of the original funding amount would allow removal <br />that restriction through a Corrective Quit Claim Deed. <br />of <br />Joshua Fredrickson stated the returned funds would be placed back <br />into Fund 108, the distressed county sales and use tax fund, and <br />requested approval of the Resolution together with authorization for <br />the Chair to sign the Corrective Quit Claim Deed at the appropriate <br />closing stage. Amy McGuffin from the Chamber of Commerce was present <br />for questions. The Board indicated it had been discussing the matter <br />for some time and expressed no further substantive questions. <br />Commissioner Laura Osiadacz motioned to approve Resolution 2026-120 <br />authorizing acceptance of funding return from the Kittitas County <br />Chamber of Commerce and Authorizing Chair Signature on a Corrective <br />Quit Claim Deed. Vice -Chairman Brett Wachsmith seconded the Motion.. <br />Motion passed. <br />2026-07-13 MINUTES <br />
