County of Kittitas,WA <br /> § 15A.03.040 PROJECT PERMIT APPLICATION PROCESS § 15A.03.060 <br /> statement of reasons why the time limits have not been met and an estimated date of <br /> issuance of the notice of final decision. <br /> g. Applications shall be void if they remain incomplete for more than 180 days. <br /> h. This section shall apply to project permit applications filed on or after the date of <br /> adoption of this title. <br /> (Ord. 9810, 1998; Ord. 2000-07; Ord. 2014-015,2014; Ord. 2025-003, 3/18/2025) <br /> §15A.03.045. Deadline extensions and supplemental information. <br /> 1. Once an application has been deemed complete, the Director may request the applicant to <br /> submit additional corrections, studies or other information on the proposed project. The <br /> Director shall set a reasonable deadline for the submittal of corrections, studies or other <br /> information when requested, and shall provide written notification of such requests to the <br /> applicant. <br /> 2. Failure by the applicant to meet such deadline shall be cause for the application to be void. <br /> However, an extension of such deadline may be requested by an applicant if the request is <br /> made prior to the expiration of the deadline. Extension requests shall be submitted in <br /> writing, include a justification of why an extension is warranted. <br /> 3. When considering a request for a deadline extension,the Director shall give consideration <br /> to the code provisions to which the project is vested, if any. In order to assure equity in <br /> permit processing between past,current,and future applicants,deadline extensions shall be <br /> limited to one extension after code provisions affecting the project have changed. Once <br /> code provisions have changed as to make the vested code substantially different than <br /> current code,a requested deadline extension of up to six months may be granted,but it shall <br /> be the final extension granted. The Director shall determine whether code changes have <br /> created substantially different regulations. <br /> 4. The Director shall provide a written, mailed response to the applicant with its decision on <br /> each extension request. <br /> (Ord. 2010-014, 2010; Ord. 2013-001,2013; Ord. 2018-021,2018; Ord. 2025-003, 3/18/2025) <br /> § 15A.03.050. Fee schedule. <br /> The fees for application related to this title shall be established by resolution and are referenced <br /> within Title 4 of the Kittitas County Code. <br /> (Ord. 98-10, 1998; Ord. 2000-07; Ord. 2007-22,2007; Ord. 2017-001,2017; Ord. 2025-003, 3/ <br /> 18/2025) <br /> § 15A.03.060. Notice of application. <br /> Kittitas County shall provide a notice of application to the public and the departments and <br /> agencies with jurisdiction. If Kittitas County has made a SEPA determination of significance <br /> under Chapter43.2 1 C RCW concurrently with the notice of application,the notice of application <br /> shall be combined with the determination of significance and scoping notice. Nothing in this <br /> subsection prevents a determination of significance and scoping notice from being issued prior <br /> to a notice of application. <br /> 1.
