06/16/2026 MINUTES 2 <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, PUBLIC TESTIMONY WAS <br />CLOSED. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING SURPLUS EQUIPMENT PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 2:06 p.m. VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to <br />consider Equipment Surplus to Kittitas County’s needs and to <br />authorize disposal of the same in accordance with RCW 36.34.080. <br /> <br />JOSH FREDRICKSON, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, reviewed a Staff Report <br />including equipment which was surplus to the County’s needs. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2026-104 EQUIPMENT SURPLUS PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2026-104, To <br />Declare Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund Equipment Surplus to the <br />County’s Needs and Authorize Disposal. VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH <br />seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING COMP. PLAN PERIODIC UPDATE CDS <br /> <br />At 2:08 p.m. VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Closed Record Public <br />Hearing to consider the enabling documents for the 2026-2046 <br />Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update and Development Regulations and <br />noted there would be no public comments taken. <br /> <br />CHAD BALA, CDS DIRECTOR, provided a recap of the history. He said <br />the enabling documents have been reviewed by the Prosecutor’s Office <br />and he recommended approval. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 2026-003 COMP PLAN PERIODIC UPDATE CDS <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Ordinance No. 2026-003, 2026- <br />2046 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update. VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 2026-004 CRITICAL AREA & DEVELOPMENT REGS CDS <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2026-004, <br />Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update Critical Area and Implementing <br />Development Regulations. VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH seconded. Motion <br />carried 2-0. <br /> <br />The meeting concluded at 2:11 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />
