INTERLocALAGREEMENTFoRGooPERATIVEPURcHASING <br />Between Washington State Univorsity and Kittitas County <br />This lntertocat Agreement is made bewveen Washington Stats University, a pubtic <br />instltution of higher education in washlngton state ("university") and Klttitas county' a <br />potiticat subdivision of the State of Washlngton ("County"). The purpose of this agreement <br />is to authorize the University to utitize the terms of a competitivety awarded contract hetd <br />by the County for banking services. <br />1. PurPose: <br />a. The agreement enahtes Washington State University to utitize the tBrms and <br />conditions inctuding the banking services pricing agreed to under a <br />competitivety awarded contract procured by Kittitas county, in accordance <br />with washington's lntertocal, Gooperation Act (chapter 39'34 RCW)' lt <br />supports efficient, cost-effective procurement by reduclng administrative <br />duPtication. <br />2. Authority: <br />a. This agreement is made under Rcw 39.34.030 and Rcw 39'34'080' which <br />attows pubtic agencies in the state of washington to contract with one <br />another for joint purchasing and cooperative action' <br />3. Gontract lnformation <br />a. The University may use the fol'towing Kittitas County contract: <br />l. Contract Titte: Master Service Agreement <br />ii. Vendor: U.S. Bank <br />iii. ScoPe: DePositAccounts <br />b. The University agrees to abide by the terms and conditions estabtished in the <br />county's contract. <br />4. ResPonsibitities: <br />a. Each party retains futt responsibitityfor its own performance under this <br />agreement. <br />b. The universitywitl be sotety responsibte for any purchases it makes and for <br />al.t resutting payments to the vendor' <br />c. The Countywitt not be hetd Liabte or responsibte forthe University's <br />purchasing decisions or obtigations' <br />d. The county is not actlng as a purchasing agent for the university' <br />5. Term: This agreement witf remain in effect for as tong as the County's contract is <br />active, unLess terminated eartier by either party with 30 days written notlce' <br />6.
