AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION RI,QUESTED: <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />December 16,2025 <br />Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve an <br />agreement between Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg to <br />provide Library Services to County Residents for the Year 2026. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />INTERACTION: <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />HANDLING: <br />ATTACHMENT <br />LEAD STAFF': <br />The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners approved $130,000.00 <br />inthe2026 budget forthe City of Ellensburg to provide library <br />services to County residents living outside the City limits and <br />$1000.00 for the One Book One County program for the period of <br />January 1,2026, through December 31,2026. <br />The Agreement as approved by the Prosecutors office (l1993) and the <br />budget amount has been verified by ZackDeHaven, Budget and <br />Finance Director. <br />Approve and authorize Board signature on the Agreement between <br />Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg to provide library services <br />and the One Book One County program for the period of January l, <br />2026, through December 31,2026. <br />1 copy - Clerk of the Board <br />2 Originals - City of Ellensburg for signature and return 1 original to <br />the Clerk of the Board. <br />Upon receipt of fully executed Agreement, BOCC office to send a <br />copy to Lisa Bugni in the Auditor's Office. <br />2026Library Services Agreement between Kittitas County and the <br />City of Ellensburg. <br />ZackDeHaven, Budget and Finance Director
