ATTACHMENT"A" <br />sqoPE-oFwoRK <br />ln addltion to providing atl materlal and labor, the Contractor shall perform the following: <br />o provide public services benefltlng senlor citizens and others In the communlties of Upper <br />Klttltas County as set forth herein and conslstent wlth the byJaws of the Upper Klttitas <br />County Senlor Center (the 'CenterJ', which provides as follows: <br />,The purpose of the Center shall be the operatlon to provide a network of services, <br />includlng health, soclal, recreatlon, educatlonal piograms for all members regardless of <br />ra.", color, 6eed, sex or national origin. They shall also, upon approval of the Board of <br />Directors, allow the center to be used for community activities." <br />The Center provides the following seruices, lncluding but not llmlted to: <br />a. provlsion of a meeting.space forAmerican Association of Retired Persons (AARP), County <br />rneetings and other publlc meetlngs which affect senior citizens. <br />b. Servlng as an Upper Kitt'rtas County Emergensy Shelter (as deslgnated by Klttitas County <br />Board of Commissioners-Resolution 2007{1). <br />c. Provlslon of personal enrichment, fellowshlp and other activities for senlors. <br />d. provlsion of a meeting place for senlor netvuorking lunches for soclal service agents <br />working with seniors ln Upper Klttltas County. <br />e. provlsion of a workpace for soclal service agencles serving seniors when such agencles <br />operate in Upper Kiftitas county. <br />f. Pmvision of dropln actlvitles forseniors. <br />g. provislons for informational brochures, flyers and pamphlets about seruices to be made <br />avallable ln the Center's magazine rack and on'rts bulletin board. <br />h. provlslon of exercise classes, arts and craft classes, personal enrichment classe3, <br />fellowship lectures, health care services and other activities. <br />i. provislon of adequate space for Kittitas County to provlde seruices as needed to Upper <br />Klttltas County residents. lf thls agreement isterminated or not renewed,the Countyand <br />the Gnter will negotlate an acceptable lease for the space dedicated for C.ounty use. <br />a <br />Kittitas county Agreement for Servlces lrev.5lL4/Z5l <br />Page 4 of 20
