BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />NO. ______________ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN'S SIGNATURE ON A LETTER AMENDING AN <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE KITTITAS COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL <br />ZONE DISTRICT AND THE KITTITAS COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Resolution 2024-155 authorized Chairman Signature on an Interlocal Agreement between <br />the Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District and the Kittitas County Conservation <br />District for the Whiskey Creek at Ellensburg Water Company Siphon Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Term 14 of the Interlocal Agreement allows the Agreement to be modified or amended <br />by written mutual agreement of the parties; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District and the Kittitas County Conservation <br />District wish to amend the Interlocal Agreement to add $15,000 to the project budget to <br />complete the identified scope of work. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners finds it in the best <br />interest of the public to authorize the Chairman to sign a letter amending the Interlocal Agreement <br />between the Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District and the Kittitas County Conservation District. <br /> <br />DATED this 16th day of June 2026, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Attest: <br /> <br />☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik ________________________________ <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br /> _______________________________ ________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner
