Motion
carried 2-0.

SPECIAL EVENT COLUMBIA RIVER HALF IRONMAN COMMISSIONERS

Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator, provided an update regarding a
Special Event Application submitted by Mr. Brisbois. The application
and associated fee were received on May 28, 2026, shortly before the
proposed event date. Following receipt of the application, County
departments conducted their review and identified several questions,
concerns, and required revisions that needed to be addressed before
approval could be considered.

Comments and requested changes from the Prosecutor's Office were
provided to the applicant on June 1, 2026, and comments from
Environmental Health were provided on June 2, 2026. Staff stated they would send a formal letter to the applicant
& encourage the applicant to submit any future applications with
sufficient lead time to allow for a complete review and coordination
process.

UPDATE WHITE BOARD COMMISSIONERS

The Board reviewed their current whiteboard topics and provided
status updates.

DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS

The Board determined that for the week of June 8, 2026, they would
post the following on their Facebook page: STEER I-90 Meeting; Solid
Waste announcement for Compact Fluorescent Light Recycling program
is back up and running; Public Works Chip Seal Schedule.

UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS

Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to
