November 24th, 2025 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman Cory <br />Wright, Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Deputy Prosecutor III Therese Murphy, IT Director Doug Fessler; <br />Assistant IT Director Zane Kinney; Infrastructure Manager Bill Davis; <br />Admin Assistant Grant Shimada <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING IT STUDY SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 11:00 a.m. Chairman Laura Osiadacz opened the Information Technology <br />Study Session. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> <br />There were no citizen comments. <br /> <br />Request APPROVAL FOR THE GRANICUS RENEWAL CONTRACT FOR <br />SMARTGOV <br />IT <br /> <br />Assistant IT Director Zane Kinney informed the Board that CDS has <br />received notice from the vendor, Granicus, about exceeding their user <br />license limit. Granicus has offered an unlimited user contract that is <br />a minor increase of $10k to the current amount for a total of $60k. IT <br />and AU have discussed the increase and agreed that it’s the best <br />financial path forward. Chairman Laura Osiadacz motioned to approve <br />the contract, Vice-Chairman Cory Wright and Commissioner Brett <br />Wachsmith approved. Motion passed 3:0. <br /> <br />Study <br />Session <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION IT <br /> <br />At 11:03 a.m., Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess into <br />an Executive Session for 15 minutes with Deputy Prosecutor III Therese <br />Murphy, IT Director Doug Fessler, Assistant IT Director Zane Kinney, <br />Infrastructure Manager Bill Davis, and Admin Assistant Grant Shimada, <br />under RCW 42.30.110 "(1)(i) To discuss with legal counsel representing <br />the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to <br />discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or <br />potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a <br />member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a <br />party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to <br />result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. <br />Action was anticipated.
