At that <br />meeting, the Board responded with feedback and asked that the draft presentation remain <br />with them for further consideration. Other county staff also responded to the concepts <br />presented. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br />IT would like to request guidance from the Board regarding the next steps for the logo <br />redevelopment project. Initial concept drafts have generated a range of feedback, and <br />there has been discussion among staff about alternative approaches such as a public <br />design contest, engaging a university program, or seeking external designers. While Mr. <br />Kinney is fully willing to continue developing concepts, it may be valuable to introduce a <br />structured process to better capture stakeholder input. <br /> <br />One possible approach is forming a small focus group composed of staff and community <br />representatives. This group would not design the logo but would provide feedback on <br />criteria, usability, values, and overall direction, ensuring that the final design reflects <br />organizational identity and community expectations. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACTS: <br />No fiscal impact at this time.
