05/19/2026 MINUTES 2 <br />instilling confidence in the County’s ability to move forward with <br />the amended agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING BULK TICKET DISCOUNT RATES AT KC FAIR EVENT CENTER <br />At 2:07 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />adopting a Bulk Ticket Package Discount Rate for Admission at the <br />Kittitas County Fair. <br /> KADY PORTERFIELD, EVENT CENTER DIRECTOR, reviewed a Staff Report <br />regarding the purpose of offering discounts for bulk ticket <br />purchases. This will help engage with community partners, non- <br />profits, youth organizations, etc. The bulk ticket pricing is set on <br />a tiered structure and provides incentive for large groups to attend <br />the Fair. The Fair Board approved this proposal at the April 16th, <br />2026, meeting. <br /> THERE BEING NO OTHER PUBLIC IN ATTENDANCE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2026-092 ADOPT BULK FAIR ADMISSION EVENT CENTER VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH moved to approve Resolution No. 2026-092 <br />Adopting theProposed Bulk Ticket Pricing for dmission to the <br />Kittitas County Fair. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded. <br /> <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICE CAMP RATES EVENT CENTER <br />At 2:09 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />Fire and Emergency Service Camp Rates at the Kittitas Valley Event <br />Center. <br /> KADY PORTERFIELD, EVENT CENTER DIRECTOR, reviewed a Staff Report <br />that would establish dedicated camp rates to streamline <br />accommodations for Fire and Emergency Services that require <br />immediate unplanned use of the Event Center. The proposed rate <br />structure is designed to better align with needs while simplifying <br />the process for services when an immediate need arises. <br /> THERE BEING NO OTHER PUBLIC IN ATTENDANCE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED.
