KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> STAFF REPORT FOR <br /> STUDY SESSION <br /> Information Technology <br /> STUDY SESSION DATE: 5/26/26 <br /> TOPIC: Discussion of the Public Website/Intranet Update <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: No Action - Information Only <br /> LEAD STAFF: Zane Kinney <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> No recommendation requested. <br /> BRIEFING SUMMARY: <br /> Work with Diagram on the county public website is progressing according to the <br /> timeline. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> In 2023 the Board directed IT to work on modernizing CAMAS. Since that time, IT has <br /> developed a project plan, and progress has been made to reach our goals. <br /> DISCUSSION: <br /> • IT is exploring options for a replacement solution for the Email Notification <br /> Service System(ENSS) in CAMAS. This system currently coordinates with <br /> Public Website, and various other CAMAS features to allow public users to opt-in <br /> to receive emails about topics which they have an interest in. It integrates with <br /> press releases,public notices, agendas, and custom-built topics of interest. It is <br /> critical that we decide our path forward before the new public website cutover.
