[%11 W Y 1111�.YK11"01 0 <br />SOLID WASTE AND MAINTENANCE MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 108 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />TUESDAY 2:00 PM I Aril 14, 2026 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright (absent), Brett Wachsmith Vice - <br />Chairman, and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz <br />Others: Patti Stacey, Cody Cupp, Lisa Lawrence and Mindy Delozier. <br />Call to Order at 2:05 p.m. <br />Citizen Comments (1 min. time limit) None <br />Update on Cle Elum Transfer Station Entrance: Contract was awarded on last week's agenda. <br />The pre -construction meeting is scheduled for Thursday and the notice to proceed will be given <br />in a couple of weeks. <br />Research and Rescue/EOC Update: The septic system is in, and the preliminary layout of the <br />building is in place. Patti informed the Board that they would see a change order on the next <br />agenda for the removal of additional trees. <br />Jail Project Update: Painting is taking place. Waiting on doors and Outdoor Rec Skylights. <br />Discussion was held on the project being within budget and funded out of Jail Reserves not the <br />General Fund. <br />Update on Probation Move: The move is scheduled for Thursday and Friday. The office will be <br />secure to do business on Monday, April 20th. Discussion was held on the door to the storage <br />closet being completed in May. A brief discussion was held on CJIS certified training. <br />Rodeo Arena Update: Steel is going up today ahead of schedule with the last steel shipment <br />arriving on Friday. The four corners of the stage area are set. The bathroom on the concourse is <br />about 3/4 done and we should start seeing more vertical work soon. <br />OTHER BUSINESS -No Action to be taken <br />Patti informed the Board the Solid Waste Office has moved to the new location. The MRW Fire <br />Inspection is being performed today, and we are waiting for them to sign off on occupancy to <br />resume accepting waste. The Transfer Station has a correction item, and the Compost facility <br />panel is on back order therefore that the portion of the move is now estimated for July. <br />Discussion was held on the walk through with the city of the existing site and protocol for the <br />closure of the Facility. <br />Meeting concluded at 2:24 p.m. <br />2026-04-14 MINUTES <br />
