Kittitas County I Snoqualmie Pass Comprehensive Safety Plan 36
FEBRUARY
Analysis of February volumes provided a baseline
for winter conditions during peak tourism season.
Figure 21 presents February 2025 weekend peak
hour approach volumes at intersections. Across
both weekdays and weekends, the intersections
with the highest peak-hour volumes were the
intersection of Exit 521-9O Eastbound Off-Ramp
& SR 906 (Location 1), the intersection of SR 906
& Hyak Drive E (Location 8), and the intersection
of Exit 541-90 WB Ramp & Lake Mardee Road
(Location 9).
Ttrbe counters cannotbe used in snowy
conditions due to interference from
snowplows, so speed and midblock
volume datawere not collected in
February. However, TMCs were still used
during the winter to assess intersection-
level conditions during the snowy season
and field observations were collected on
NewYear's Eve and NewYear's Day.
,/
//
ffi
3
5
@
+,o
'o,"q
I
Avo2
o
o
--1
o=
a.
J-
-(a
&
r&
.u.o.
-&U
a
o^ .-Qe?6\rn\o
@
lanner
V"laY
I lo
o{K
$1't(\, Jton Horr" TrJ
Figure 27.
