Key Data Trends The development of the CSAPwas guided by comprehensive data analysis, including collision data, traffic volumes, traffic speed, and intersection level of service. This chapter highlights the key findings and trends identified through these analyses, offering insights into current roadway conditions and their implications for transportation safety and mobility in Snoqualmie Pass. To identify key collision trends, the project team analyzed collisions that occurred in Snoqualmie Pass over a 10-year period, from January 2014 through December 2023, using data available through the WSDOT crash portal.'The analysis includes collisions on local roads, SR 906, and the on- and off-ramps of l-90, but excludes I-90 itsell as this limited-access highway is addressed under the State's Strategic Highway Safety Plan.t ln addition to collision data, traffic volume and speed data was evaluated to assess roadway performance and understand how capacity constraints may impact safety across the local network.
