ATTACHMENT,,C" <br />INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />Contractor shall secure and maintain in effect at all times during performance of work under this <br />Agreement such insurance as will protect Contractor, its employees, and agents from all claims, losses, harm, <br />costs, liabilities, damages and expenses arising out of Contractor's performance under this Agreement, including <br />but not limited to personal injury (including death) or property damage. <br />All insurance shall be issued by companies admitted to do business in the State of Washington and have <br />a rating of A-, Class Vll or better in the most recently published edition of Best's Reports unless otherwise approved <br />by the County. lf an insurer is not admitted, all insurance policies and procedures for issuing the insurance policies <br />must comply with Chapter 48.15 RCW and 284-15 WAC. <br />At a minimum, Contractor shall maintain and provide proof of the following selected options: <br />X CommercialGener I Liabilitv lnsurance <br />Coverage limits not less than: <br />. 51,000,000 per occurrence, for all covered losses <br />o $2,000,000 general aggregate <br />o $1,000,000 products & completed operations aggregate <br />r $1,000,000 personal and advertising injury, each offense <br />The policy must be endorsed to include the County and its officials, employees and agents <br />as additional insureds. <br />Commercial Automobile Liabilitv lnsurance <br />r Automobile Liability for owned, non-owned, hired, and leased vehicles, with an MCS 90 <br />endorsement and a CA 9948 endorsement attached if 'pollutants' are to be transported. <br />I Coverage limits not less than: <br />r $1,000,000 combined single limit <br />Excess or Umbrella Liabilitv <br />. Contractor shall provide Excess or Umbrella Liability coverage of 55,000,000. This Excess <br />or Umbrella Liability coverage shall apply, at a minimum, to both the Commercial General <br />and Automobile lnsurance policy coverages. lf used to meet limit requirements, coverage <br />must be at least as broad as specified for underlying coverages, and must cover those <br />insured in the underlying policies. <br />. This requirement may alternatively be satisfied through Contractor's primary Commercial <br />General and Automobile Liability coverage, or any combination thereof. <br />. The policy must be endorsed to include the County and its officials, employees and agents <br />as additional insureds. <br />. Coverage shall be "pay on behalf", with defense costs payable in addition to policy limits. <br />. There shall be no cross liability exclusion precluding coverage for claims or suits by one <br />insured against another. <br />x Workers'Comoen & Emnlove/s Liabilitv <br />Contractor shall provide Workers Compensation and Employer's Liability insurance on a <br />state-approved policy form providing benefits as required by law with employer's liability <br />limits no less than S1,000,000 per accident or disease. <br />Kittitas County Agreement for Services lrev.5/14/251 <br />Page 5 of 20 <br />X
