From: Teresa Castrilli
To: Jeremy Johnston
Subject: Fwd: Easton Sub Area Plan Revisions
Date: Tuesday,April 21,2026 11:33:47 AM
CAUTION: This email originated from outside the Kittitas County network. This is not a reality as stated.
Yes I agree, remove all goal and policy references to specific possible upgrades/additions
(e.g. sidewalks, lighting, day use areas, etc.)
Yes I agree, remove the reference to "Consult with local septic and water experts to
understand development limitations." This is a sticking point and we DO NOT WANT new
growth requiring this type of investigation. Old Town South Easton is historic and as the town
grows and is rebuilt it should remain as platted.
Add South Easton Lamird 1 to stay within its current boundaries. This is a very
important statement that I want put in the Easton Subarea plan. I own property adjacent to
Lamird 1, I received a letter from CDS stating planning was taking place asking for comment,
you (Jeremy) in the meeting stated letters were only sent to those bordering the Lamird.
Therefore, this makes me think you the County want feedback on the Lamird 1 boundary line.
KEEP Lamird 1 boundary lines as they are, we want nothing to do with expanding the
boundary lines. This is a stickler for our family and want this added into the Sub Area
plan. I have attended most of these meetings over the last two years just to protect my
property and recreational usage in the Easton area and want this accomplished in the plan.
There is plenty of work to be done just within the historic Lamird 1 boundary lines. No need
to be encroaching on people's beloved private family properties.
Thank you for assisting us with our concerns.
