Signal timing
can be evaluated to minimize delays and
improve traffic flow.
Install pedestrian lighting, pavement
markings, and signage to enhance the
visibility of the crosswalk. This will
show drivers where to stop to provide
sufficient stopping distance.
Crossing Treatment
SR 906, West of Summit
Central to Yellowstone Road
Add a shared use path to provide non-
motorized transportation alternatives.
This aligns with the walkway and bicycle
lane proven safety countermeasures and
provides pedestrians and cyclists with
a dedicated space that reduces their
interactions with vehicles.
ƒConnect Summit Central to
Yellowstone Road (0.6 miles).
ƒProvide local non-motorized
trail connectivity between
Alpental and Lake Keechelus.
Corridor Improvement
Corridor Improvement
53 Snoqualmie Pass Comprehensive Safety Plan | Kittitas County
