Funding is available through the FAA for construction. <br />• Project will construct new taxilanes for future hangar development,, <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Development of a hangar taxilane complex project is identified in the Bowers Field <br />Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and Airport Master Plan. The Bipartisan Infrastructure <br />Law as enacted in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act authorized additional <br />allocation for airport projects. Funding for pavement rehabilitation work for Bowers Field <br />pJroect FAA/AIP No. 3-53-0026-024-2025 is available. Funding requires a 5%match. <br />Match funds are available I*n the Airport Fund. In addition, a Washington Department of <br />Trans portation Aviation grant application has been submitted to help offset County <br />matching funds. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />The project involves construction of new taxilanes for future hangar development south <br />of the existing main General Aviation Apron,. The project will also include taxilane safety <br />40 <br />and object free area grading, relocation of airport perimeter fencing, installation of utility <br />sleeves as needed to avoid future pavement. cuts 1*n the proposed taxilane, drainage work <br />
