BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUMO <br />N0. 2025 <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT <br />OF COMMERCE <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for public <br />agencies to cooperate for mutual advantage; and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County, through the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD), <br />is charged with the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health in the <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, one of the many ways KCPHD preserves and promotes health improvements is by <br />overseeing the homeless and affordable housing committee; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to State law, document recording fees are dedicated to funding homeless <br />and affordable housing programs; and <br />WHEREAS, as detailed in the attached interlocal agreement, the Washington State Department <br />of Commerce is providing funding to Kittitas County for the specific purposes <br />outlined in the agreement related to homeless and affordable housing programs. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby authorizes execution of the attached interlocal agreement with the <br />Washington State Department of Comm. e�rce. <br />DATED this day of �P fJ [�,'1�'. 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />C.O1 I1171 <br />�tyt��t�r�r-lr� <br />dlier—kof =theBoar:�� <br />
