04/06/2026 MINUTES 2 <br /> <br />The Board directed Ms. Stacey to bring the items forward at a future <br />Agenda Session for formal consideration. <br /> <br />UPDATE WHITE BOARD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board reviewed their current whiteboard topics and provided <br />status updates. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of April 6, 2026, they would <br />post the following on their Facebook page: Recognition of National <br />County Government Month. The post will highlight community displays <br />and children’s artwork, and acknowledge the County’s pride in <br />celebrating the 34th year of its Sister City relationship with <br />Sanda, Japan. The Board also approved including an invitation to the <br />public to attend a presentation on how local government works, <br />scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the Upper <br />County Senior Center. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2026 <br />were determined during a Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting and they will continue to provide updates at future <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES – There were general updates on <br />meetings & conversations that the Board participated in, <br />individually, over the past week. <br /> <br />Meeting concluded at 9:28 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Cory Wright, Chairman
