EXECUTIVE SESSION: RCW 42.30.110 (g) To evaluate the qualifications of an applicant <br /> for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee. However, <br /> subject to employment to be generally applied within the agency shall occur in a <br /> meeting open to the public, and when a governing body elects to take final action <br /> hiring, setting the salary of an individual employee or class of employees, or <br /> discharging or disciplining an employee, that action shall be taken in a meeting <br /> open to the public. <br /> Members present: Bryan Elliott, Rich Elliott, Jim DeVere, Dave Allenbaugh, Steven <br /> Cook, Matthew Lundh, Jeff Adams, Sean Crabb <br /> COG members recessed to Executive Session at 5:33 p.m. for 20 minutes with action <br /> anticipated. <br /> COG members reconvened out of Executive Session at 5:53 p.m. and requested an <br /> additional 20 minutes. <br /> COG members reconvened out of Executive Session at 6:12 p.m. with action provided <br /> under the next agenda topic. <br /> DISCUSSION/DECISION: KCEDP EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE UPDATE <br /> Rich Elliott made a motion to move the five (5) candidates forward to the <br /> next/final round of interviews to COG, with the interview panel to consist of one <br /> member of each municipality. Dave Allenbaugh seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> Steven Cook mentioned the Washington State Department of Ecology (DOE) and the <br /> water outlook for this year. Matthew Lundh stated that DOE commented on a five <br /> (5) percent hold and instill a conservation program.
