The performance of att or part of this Agreement by the contractor shalt not operate to vest <br />any emptoyment rights whatsoever and shatt not be deemed to guarantee any employment of <br />the Contractor or any emptoyee of the Contractor or any sub-Contractor or any employee of <br />any sub-contractor by the county at the present time or in the future. <br />9. Taxes: <br />The contractor understands and acknowledges that the countywil,t notwithhold FederaI or <br />State income taxes. Where required by State or Federal [aw, the Contractor authorizes the <br />Countytomakewithhotdingforanytaxesotherthanincometaxes{i'e'Medicare}' Alt <br />compensation received bythe contractorwitl. be reported to the lnterna[ Revenue Service at <br />the end of the calendar year in accordance with the appl.icabte IRS regul'ations' lt is the <br />responsibility of the contractor to ma ke the necessary estimated tax payments throu$hout <br />the year, if any, and the Contractor is sol'ety Liabte for any tax obtigation arising from the <br />Contractor's performanca of this Agreement.
