WHEREAS: in accordance with an amendment to the interlocal agreement, each participating <br />municipality agreed to make available l3%o of their annual lodging tax collections <br />to be awarded through the consolidated lodging tax grant process; and <br />WHEREAS: in accordance with the interlocal agreement, Kittitas County will provide notice to <br />each successful applicant and will require a contract be agreed to by each <br />successful applicant prior to funding awards being available for reimbursement; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: in accordance with the interlocal agreement, Kittitas County will serve as the <br />single reimbursing agency for all successful applicants and will bill each <br />participating municipality's lodging tax fund, for its respective share of any <br />reimbursements awarded and applied for; and <br />WHEREAS: Resolution2026-018 awarded the use of 2026 HoteliMotelTax funds for <br />$480,887.39, which the county-wide LTAC Consolidated Work Group <br />recommended exPending. <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County designated $341,015.40 to be available for grants as part of this <br />process, Ellensburg designated $108,259.12, Cle Elum designated 927,340'67, <br />and Roslyn designated $4272.20; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That Kittitas County hereby awards the2026 <br />Hotel/Motel Tax fund grants distribution for special events and projects as follows: <br />APPlicant <br />Webb Events <br />Cle Elum Downtown Association <br />Top Tier Sports <br />Ellensburg Downtown Assoc/PLACES <br />KEEN <br />Punch Projects <br />WA State Ski & Snowboard Museum <br />Roslyn Downiown Association <br />Ellensburg Downtown Association <br />Kittitas County Historical Society <br />Gallery One <br />Ellensburg Rodeo Associatton <br />Suncadia Springfest <br />Award <br />50,500.00 <br />25,000.00 <br />65,000.00 <br />5,500.00 <br />1 5,000.00 <br />20,000.00 <br />1 5,000.00 <br />34,1 75.00 <br />47,600.00 <br />1 7,000.00 <br />1 5,000.00 <br />30,000.00 <br />2,923.00
