The proposal requests$1,500,000 in COG <br /> funds with only $125,000 in other funding, meaning the overwhelming share of funding would come from distressed <br /> sales tax dollars. <br /> The funding request is primarily to repair an existing water system that suffers from years of deferred maintenance. <br /> While maintenance is necessary, the proposal does not address the core structural concern: the water district's supply <br /> is subject to curtailment. <br /> 1 <br />
