BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />No. Ap\,Lp-05U <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZETHE CHAIRMAN'S SIGNATURE ON A LETTER <br />AMENDING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE KITTITAS COUNTY FLOOD <br />CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT AND THE KITTITAS COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS:Resolution No. 2024-198 authorized the Chairman's signature on an Interlocal <br />Agreement between the Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District and the Kittitas <br />County Conservation District for the Whiskey Creek at Ellensburg Water Company <br />Siphon Project; and <br />WHEREAS: Term 14 of the Interlocal Agreement allows the Agreement to be modified or amended <br />by written mutual agreement of the parties; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District and the Kiffitas County Conservation <br />District wish to amend the Interlocal Agreement to extend the term from March 31,2026, <br />to March 31,2027. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners finds it in the best <br />interest of the public to authorize the Chairman to sign a letter amending the Interlocal Agreement <br />between the Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District and the Kittitas County Conservation District. <br />DATED this lTth day of March2026, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTIT TON <br />Wright, <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Commissioner
