Or from another country or state outside of their place of residence or business. <br />You must provide the evidence utilized in determining your projections. <br />Response 2.1: Why would tourists travel to Kittitas County to attend your event/activity/facility?* <br />There is no other outdoor Shakespeare company in Washington on this side of the mountains, and we perform at a time in the <br />summer where there are not as many other events in Ellensburg to draw in an audience (after Valley Theatre Company and <br />Ellensburg Music Festival, before the Rodeo). Even without marketing to a non-Ellenburg audience in 2025, we were successful <br />in pulling in an audience from throughout Washington. <br />2500 character limit <br />Response 2.2: Describe the prior success of your event/activity/facility to attract tourists.* <br />Our 2025 production drew audiences totalling at least 404 people, of which 48 (12%) were from locations over 50 miles away <br />from Ellensburg. We gathered this data by asking audience members for their zip codes, which we collected from 42.5% of the <br />audience, and extrapolating that data to the other half of the audience. <br />2500 character limit <br />Application Questions: Part 2 <br />We will add a significant component of online (digital) marketing to reach audiences throughout the Pacific NorthWest. <br />2500 character limit <br />Application Questions: Part 3 <br />This past year we partnered with the International Order of Odd Fellows, the Ellensburg United Methodist Church, and the <br />Kittitas Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation, as well as Ellensburg School District and the Ellensburg Parks and <br />Recreation department. <br />2500 character limit
