We add up each visit (taken at the front desk) to the gallery, our events, our classes. In 2024, we more than doubled our <br />pandemic numbers (26170 compared to 9466). This year, we may triple our 2020 visitor amount. <br />2. We review our Facebook demographics and Google analytics to understand where our visitors are from. <br />3. We review our membership and mailing list and see where they are from. <br />4. We review a sample survey from the front desk that asks where visitors are from <br />for the month of August/September. <br />5. We compare the percentages of those from inside the county, out of the county, <br />and out of the state. <br />6. We determine an average percentage of those from out of the state and out of the <br />county and apply that to the overall number of visits. <br />Out of state average of all numbers is 9% plus out of county average is 29% totaling <br />38% out of Kittitas County. <br />7. We multiply our projection of visits by these numbers. Our projection for 2026 is <br />29,773 x .05= 1489 Out of state visitors 29,773 x .25 = 7443 out of county visitors <br />totaling 8932 <br />8. We make a modest assumption that 1 out of 30 of these 8932 visitors (out of state <br />plus out of county) will pay for lodging for 1.5 nights average.
