These efforts keep Ellensburg top-of-mind for regional
travelers both during and outside event weekends.
Strategic Alignment: This work directly supports the Kittitas County Tourism Strategic Plan, which identifies Seattle-Tacoma-
Bellevue, Yakima, Spokane, and Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro as top visitor markets and calls for “spreading tourism benefits
countywide, supporting downtown districts as cultural destinations, and promoting shoulder-season tourism.”
By expanding marketing reach and elevating these signature events, the EDA ensures more visitors experience Ellensburg’s
hospitality, creating measurable benefits for lodging, dining, and downtown businesses.
2500 character limit
Note: You MUST be present at the Q&A meeting to qualify for funding.
https://youtu.be/OrLK8ZpdO-c
Response 1.3: List of Intended Use of Funds *
Note: This language will be related in the contract if awarded.
The CLTAC cannot approve funds not listed under RCW 67.28.1816.
