Response 1.1: Please provide a description of your project/event.*
Response 1.2: Please provide us link to a brief video summary of you organization's event/project.*
The funds requested will be instrumental in propelling our marketing efforts and helping us achieve the RDA's mission to
promote Roslyn as a premier tourism destination. Our goal is to elevate our community's profile and attract new visitors by
sharing compelling stories, engaging in targeted outreach, and utilizing strategic advertising. Daily, we are excited to showcase
Roslyn's rich history, charming atmosphere, and vibrant local culture, making it an irresistible place to visit. This dynamic
approach attracts visitors to special events, leaves a lasting impression, and encourages repeat visits, all while supporting our
local businesses and strengthening the community in the long term.
The Lodging Tax funding elevates our marketing initiatives and promotes events that showcase Roslyn's unparalleled charm.
This support enables us to sustain year-round marketing efforts and exciting events that highlight everything our town has to
offer.
Collaboration is key to our success. By partnering with the Chamber's tourism office, local businesses, and community
organizations, we amplify our reach and impact. Our marketing campaigns consistently engage thousands of people annually,
complemented by the popular Roslyn Sunday Farmers Market and our signature event, Old Town Christmas, which attracts an
average of 2,000 visitors.
Looking ahead to 2026, we're excited to share upcoming projects that will further elevate Roslyn's appeal. These include the
development of the Roslyn Tourism Map, the completion of a featured brochure titled "Roslyn's Women-Owned Businesses,"
and our fourth captivating video production: "The Roslyn Music Scene." These videos are designed to boost visitor engagement,
showcase our vibrant community, and strengthen the local economy, making Roslyn an even more dynamic and must-visit
destination throughout the year. We are committed to continuing our efforts to highlight Roslyn's unique stories and expanding
charming, smaller events during the week to keep our town lively, inviting, and on the radar of travelers far and wide.
2500 character limit
Note: You MUST be present at the Q&A meeting to qualify for funding.
https://1drv.ms/v/c/be64f2f7903e1775/EYQ7wAdgRFlCpOd9uFDkGQ8BQ06zpb0Ck6fwomZHd2nD7Q?e=wGH66O
Response 1.3: List of Intended Use of Funds *
Note: This language will be related in the contract if awarded.
The CLTAC cannot approve funds not listed under RCW 67.28.1816.
