Each of these conferences drew between 295–385 attendees, with the majority traveling more than 50 miles and <br />requiring paid lodging. <br />For Ellensburg, we have: <br />Attendance projected at 370, based on past enrollment trends and conference capacity. <br />Overnight stays estimated at +90% of attendees, consistent with prior years’ data showing most participants require lodging. <br />Room nights calculated using an average stay length of 2.5 nights (drawn from WA Trust’s reporting on previous host <br />communities). <br />2500 character limit <br />Application Questions: Part 5 <br />Yes <br />No <br />Response 8.2b: List all funding sources and amounts for which you have applied but have not yet secured.* <br />Committed In Kind Sponsorship 11,000.00$ <br />Committed Cash Sponsorship 14,500.00$ <br />If LTAC funding is not awarded, the Ellensburg Downtown Association and statewide host committee will pursue additional <br />sponsorship dollars to close the gap. While we have already met the sponsorship threshold required to host PLACES 2026, new <br />outreach would be necessary to secure funding specifically for the tourism-related elements of the conference; including <br />attendee transportation, entertainment, and printed attendee experience material. <br />Without LTAC support, the conference itself would still proceed; however, our ability to maximize lodging impact and fully <br />promote Kittitas County businesses, restaurants, and attractions would be reduced.
