BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026- <br />AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF AP TRITON L.L.C. FOR THE STANDARD OF <br />COVERAGE ASSESSMENT AND AUTHORIZE THE KITTITAS COUNTY COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND SIGN THE PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Community Development Services (KCCDS) advertised a Request for <br />Statement of Qualifications in February 2026, for professional services relating to the <br />Standard of Coverage Assessment. This will be a county -wide Fire and Emergency <br />Medical Services assessment. The purpose is to develop a unified, data -driven <br />understanding of how emergency services are organized, staffed, and deployed across <br />Kittitas County, and to evaluate current performance against national standards of <br />coverage and response capability; and <br />WHEREAS: Submittals were due on March 12th 2026; and <br />WHEREAS: Four (4) qualified firms submitted their qualifications for review; and <br />WHEREAS: A team comprised of the Standard of Coverage subcommittee (4 individuals) and a <br />representative of KCCDS have reviewed the submittals and recommend AP Triton L.L.C. <br />be selected for the for the Standard of Coverage assessment. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby select AP Triton L.L.C. to be selected for the <br />Standard of Coverage assessment and authorize the KCCDS Director to negotiate and sign the <br />professional services agreement. <br />DATED this 7th day of April 2026 at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chainnan <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
