Qualifications: <br />1. Chain Link Fence and Gate Supplier: 5 years’ experience in fence and <br />gate manufacturing. <br />2. Chain Link Fence and Gate Supplier: Experienced installer who has <br />completed chain link fences and gates similar in material, design, and <br />extent to those indicated for Project and whose work has resulted with a <br />record of successful in-service performance with a minimum 3 years’ <br />experience. <br />B. Design, supply of equipment and components, installation, and on-call service <br />shall be product of individual company with record of installations meeting <br />requirements specified. <br />C. Preinstallation Conference: Conduct conference at project Site with gate <br />installer to verify layout and operations of gate. <br />1.05 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver materials to Site in undamaged condition. Store materials off the <br />ground to provide protection against oxidation caused by ground contact. <br />1.06 SCHEDULING AND SEQUENCING <br />A. Complete necessary Site preparation and grading before installing chain link <br />fence and gates. <br />B. Interruption of Existing Utility Service: Notify owner of utility 72 hours prior <br />to interruption of utility services. Do not proceed with interruption of utility <br />service without written permission from utility owner. <br />1.07 SPECIAL GUARANTEE <br />A. Provide manufacturer’s extended guarantee or warranty, with Owner named <br />as beneficiary, in writing, as special guarantee. Special guarantee shall <br />provide for correction, or at the option of the Owner, removal and replacement <br />of the following items found defective during a period of 5 years after the date <br />of Substantial Completion. Duties and obligations for correction or removal <br />and replacement of defective Work shall be as specified in the General <br />Conditions. <br />1. Faulty operations of gate operation.
