03/16/2026 MINUTES 2 <br />RESOLUTION CITY OF ELLENSBURG/ILA KITTITAS CO. MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve Resolution No. 2026-053, <br />Resolution Authorizing an Interlocal Agreement between the City of <br />Ellensburg and Kittitas County Maintenance for Maintenance Services <br />at the Cold Weather Shelter. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SOLID WASTE ADMIN BUILDING CLOSED SOLID WASTE <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve Resolution No. 2026-054, a <br />Resolution Authorizing the Closure of the Kittitas County Solid <br />Waste Admin Office from March 30 - April 3, 2026. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />ACKNOWLEDGE RESIGNATION FAIR BOARD – BLUME COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wachsmith moved to acknowledge and approve the <br />recommendation from the Executive Board - Fair Board to accept the <br />resignation effective immediately from Fair Board Director Andrea <br />Blume. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT JAMES WATTERSON DIST.#3 WEED DIST COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wachsmith moved to appoint James Watterson to the <br />Kittitas County Noxious Weed District #3 Representative, effective <br />immediately and to expire on March 6, 2028. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />REAPPOINTMENT LITTLE/PERKINS HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wachsmith moved to reappoint Dr. Robert Perkins and <br />John Little to the Kittitas County Housing Authority Board for a 5 <br />Year Term, effective immediately and expiring April 6, 2031. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />RATIFY SENATOR CANTWELL & MURRAY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve and ratify Board signature <br />on a letter to Senator Cantwell & Senator Murray regarding CWU's <br />Request for $3,000,000 in FY 2027 Congressionally Directed Spending <br />for the Old Heat Commercialization Center in Ellensburg. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded.
