1. Property Tax Parcel numbers:
602534
2. Narrative project description:
At the request of Public Works, Bunker Rd.,which is part of the Bakers Acres plat
established in the 70's, is now required to be certified.
3. Provision of road standards for which this variance is requested and the way in which you
wish to vary from the standards:
The way we wish to vary is to have Bunker Rd. certified as is.Two sections slightly exceed
the 10% slope. One of the sections is at the intersection of Baker Rd. and Bunker Rd.The
approach is paved and the steepest point reaches 14% and is a short distance of around
50'.The second section is at an existing driveway for 200 Bunker Rd.The steepest point is
17% and is for a short distance of around 50'.
The other waywe wish to vary is the width requirement of the road; there's a couple of
spots that cannot be widened due to existing fences and utilities.
Reason for the variance request:
Due to an existing paved approach of Bunker Rd, and existing driveways where the slopes
slightly exceed 10% as well as existing fencing and underground utilities,we are unable to
meet these requirements.
4. Proposed Mitigation for requested variance:
Our proposed mitigation would be to widen turnout areas and have a vegetation
management plan to keep the road free of vegetation and provide clear lines of site.
5.Are there any other pending applications or issues associated with this property?
Yes, BP-24-00552.
