KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> Armory - KVEC 901 E 71h Ave, Ellensburg <br /> Public Meeting <br /> TUESDAY 6 : 00 PM February 10 , 2026 <br /> Board members present: Bruce Coe, Pat Deneen, Warren Taylor, and <br /> Scott Carlson. <br /> Board of County Commissioners present: Cory Wright and Laura <br /> Osiadacz . <br /> Absent: Bill Hinkle, Judith Jackson and Brett Wachsmith. <br /> Others : Chad Bala, Jeremy Johnston, Jamey Alying, Jessica <br /> Miller, Clerk (Community Development Services) , Josh Fredrickson <br /> and Kelee Hodges (Public Works) , Clay White and Erin O' Kelley <br /> (Kimley-Horn) , and one (1) member of the public. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6 : 00 P.M. <br /> CALL TO ORDER - Roll Call <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 min. time limit) <br /> There were no citizen comments . <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> COMMISSIONER TAYLOR moved to approve the minutes from January <br /> 13, 2026 . COMMISSIONER PEARSON seconded. Discussion - none . <br /> Motion passed. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> CDS DIRECTOR CHAD BALA introduced the team and provided a brief <br /> overview of the meeting agenda. Staff will be giving a high <br /> level review of the key draft policy changes to the <br /> Comprehensive Plan, including a PowerPoint by Clay White <br /> reviewing the schedule, upcoming deadlines, the Critical Areas <br /> Ordinance and our Development Agreement . CDS DIRECTOR BALA <br /> stated the commissioners were provided with the clean and <br /> redline version of the Comprehensive Plan, which included <br /> Planning Commissioners input, staff input, community input and <br /> previous joint meetings exercises and discussion outcomes . <br /> CLAY WHITE, Kimley-Horn, stated that the Comprehensive Plan <br /> website has everything online and the comment period is open <br /> until March 2, 2026 . We have had our meeting with the Planning <br /> 2026-2-10 MINUTES 1 <br />
