BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />NO. ______________ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN’S SIGNATURE ON A LETTER <br />AMENDING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE KITTITAS COUNTY FLOOD <br />CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT AND THE KITTITAS COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Resolution No. 2024-198 authorized the Chairman’s signature on an Interlocal <br />Agreement between the Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District and the Kittitas <br />County Conservation District for the Whiskey Creek at Ellensburg Water Company <br />Siphon Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Term 14 of the Interlocal Agreement allows the Agreement to be modified or amended <br />by written mutual agreement of the parties; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District and the Kittitas County Conservation <br />District wish to amend the Interlocal Agreement to extend the term from March 31, 2026, <br />to March 31, 2027. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners finds it in the best <br />interest of the public to authorize the Chairman to sign a letter amending the Interlocal Agreement <br />between the Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District and the Kittitas County Conservation District. <br /> <br />DATED this 17th day of March 2026, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Attest: <br /> <br />☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik ________________________________ <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br /> _______________________________ ________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner
