Change Order No. 2 <br />consolidates multiple change proposal requests (COPS) necessary to <br />address items that were either not fully defined in the original plans <br />or discovered during construction. <br />Change Order No. 2 includes work associated with additional <br />telecommunications conduit and infrastructure, investigation and <br />replacement of existing electrical feeders, stormwater system <br />modifications, and clarification of event lighting requirements. It <br />also addresses required structural footings for HSS components and <br />correction of non -code -compliant wiring serving the First Aid <br />Station. These changes are intended to ensure the facility meets <br />current code requirements, supports long-term operational needs, <br />and accommodates future technology and event demands. <br />The total cost of Change Order No. 2 is $167,807.12, resulting in a <br />revised contract sum of $5,286,986.49, exclusive of state and local <br />sales tax. This change order reflects both additive and deductive <br />items, including a credit associated with a prior sales tax overage. <br />No additional contract time is requested, and the contract <br />completion date remains unchanged. <br />The proposed costs have been reviewed by ALSC Architects and <br />County staff and are considered reasonable and appropriate for the <br />scope of work required. <br />INTERACTION: Grandstands Project Management <br />Kittitas Valley Event Center <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approval of Change Order No. 2 <br />ATTACHMENT(S): Change Order No. 2 <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey, Solid Waste and Maintenance Director — Project <br />Construction Manager <br />
