BOARD OF COI.TNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COI]NTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF'WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTTON No. 2026 -o q b <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL <br />AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS ENGINEERING PHASE F'OR THE CORRIDOR <br />IMPROVEMENTS COTINTYWIDE PROJECT CRP 323.26 <br />WIIEREAS: The Corridor Improvements Countywide Project was awarded Federal Funding <br />through the 2025 Highway Safety Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS: The Federal Funding will be used for the preliminary engineering phase to <br />design, develop and prepare construction plans and specifications for these <br />improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: In preparation to begin work, Kittitas County Public Works is requesting the <br />Washington State Department of Transportation release the Federal Funds for <br />preliminary engineering; and <br />WHEREAS:A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair <br />of the Board of County Commissioners acknowledging the project has been <br />reviewed and is consistent with the County's comprehensive plan for community <br />development;and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT R-ESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus for the Corridor Improvements <br />Countywide Project CRP 323-26. <br />DATED on this 3rd day of March 2026, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COLINTY <br />COMMIS <br />COI]NTY, WASHINGTON <br />Attest <br />n Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Vice-Chairman <br />J o di Lare <br />Clerk of the Board- I4€ndt"B'u€$helz. <br />Commissioner
