infrastructure which serves both the City of Roslyn and Water District 2 (Ronald). The <br /> clear wells provide disinfection contact time and equalizing storage for their water <br /> system. Repairs are required to one clear well and the second clear well needs to be <br /> replaced. The City of Roslyn was awarded $125,000.00 from the Public Works Board to <br /> assist with the project. COG supported the City of Roslyn request of up to $1,500,000.00 <br /> of Distressed County Sales and Use Tax for repairs and replacement of their clear wells. <br /> Also at the February 18, 2026 regular meeting of COG also received an update of the <br /> CWU Technology Transfer Center Feasibility (Old Heat) project. COG initially <br /> supported the project through matching funds to the Washington State Community <br /> Economic Revitalization Board(CERB) grant. COG continued to express their support of <br /> the project by recommending an additional $20,000.00 of Distressed County Sales and <br /> Use Tax for expanding work on the project.
