Partnerships & County -Led Alignment <br />This project supports county -led economic development priorities by strengthening collaboration among <br />employers, municipalities, education partners, and workforce organizations. The Chamber serves as a neutral <br />convener and implementation partner, ensuring private -sector engagement while aligning activities with county <br />and municipal goals. Consultant support will further enhance coordination, communication, and share capacity <br />across jurisdictions. <br />Why the Chamber of Commerce <br />The Chamber is uniquely positioned to advance workforce development due to its direct relationships with <br />employers across industries, its convening role, and its ability to translate employer needs into actionable <br />strategies. As a trusted partner, the Chamber complements county and municipal efforts by engaging the business <br />community, supporting cross -sector collaboration, and ensuring workforce initiatives remain responsive and <br />aligned with county economic development objectives. <br />Expected Outcomes & Performance Metrics <br />• Employer Engagement <br />o Engage 50+ employers through surveys, meetings, or programming. <br />o Identify workforce trends and priority needs across key sectors. <br />• Workforce Programming <br />o Deliver 6-10 workforce -focused workshops or events. <br />o Achieve 75% participant satisfaction based on post -event evaluations. <br />• Talent Pipeline Development <br />o Establish or strengthen 5+ partnerships with K-12, CTE, higher education, or workforce <br />organizations. <br />o Increase awareness of local career pathways through coordinated communications. <br />• Business Support <br />o Serve 40+ small businesses through SBDC-aligned workforce programming. <br />o Track reported improvements in hiring practices, onboarding processes, or employee retention <br />strategies. <br />• Countywide Capacity Building <br />o Support multiple municipalities through shared access to professional grant writing services. <br />o Improve coordination among county, municipal, and economic development partners. <br />Community & Economic Impact <br />This project will strengthen the local workforce ecosystem by aligning education, employers, and economic <br />development partners. Outcomes include improved talent retention, enhanced business resilience, and sustained <br />economic growth across Kittitas County. The initiative supports long-term workforce readiness while remaining <br />adaptable to evolving employer and community needs. <br />
