KITTITAS COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: February 19, 2026 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Closure of the <br />Kittitas County Commissioners Office from February 25 — <br />27, 2026. <br />BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners has made the decision to <br />relocate to a smaller office space to allow for Misdemeant <br />Probation to move into the BoCC current office. <br />INTERACTION: Staff has worked with County Maintenance and Harris Office <br />Supply to obtain the proper equipment for the new space as well as <br />preparing the new location for the move. <br />Staff was notified on 2/17/2026 that Harris Office Supply would be <br />onsite on 2/23 & 2/24 to set up the new equipment this closure will <br />allow Staff to get a lot, if not all of what is needed moved to the <br />new space and ready to re -open on Monday March 2, 2026. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve the Resolution Authorizing the Closure of the Kittitas <br />County Board of Commissioners Office from February 25- 27, <br />2026. <br />HANDLING: None. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator <br />
