Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried <br />3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION CABLE BOCC OFFICE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator explained with the BoCC Office <br />move that a discussion amongst Staff and Chairman Wright had <br />occurred on whether to keep cable since the new office configuration <br />doesn’t have the same type of setting where it can be seen/heard by <br />everyone easily and that it is not used that much. Staff was <br />directed to bring it up at a future meeting. The Board directed <br />Staff to cancel it. <br /> <br />UPDATE WHITE BOARD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board reviewed their current whiteboard topics and provided <br />status updates. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of February 23, 2026, they <br />would post the following on their Facebook page: Press Release from <br />the Treasurer’s Office regarding the penny shortage and need for <br />exact change when it comes to cash payments; BoCC Office closure; <br />Everbridge Sign Up steps; City of Ellensburg closing 6th and water <br />from March 2 – 4, 2026 for the HVAC for the Jail. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2026 <br />were determined during a Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting and they will continue to provide updates at future <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES – There were general updates on <br />meetings & conversations that the Board participated in, <br />individually, over the past week. <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz asked if the Board had any interest in <br />formally pursuing a contribution from the County to assist <br />financially to the America 250 celebration. She stated she was <br />thinking 10K-15K. The Board was supportive and directed her to work <br />with the Auditor’s Office to formalize it. <br />
